Jeanette Ricci, PhD


Founder and Owner

Jeanette Ricci is a passionate, young-career physical activity researcher with a vision of bringing her expertise to the individuals who need them the most. Jeanette Ricci is the Founder and Owner of Aim to Play LLC, and she hopes to offer accessible physical activity resources, program evaluation, grant writing, and consulting services to schools, sport coaches, and community program leaders to ensure children are achieving national physical activity recommendations.

Jeanette Ricci is also an Associate Research Scientist at Oregon Research Institute and Saavsus, Inc., both located in Eugene, OR. Her multidisciplinary expertise is in designing and evaluating youth physical activity programs that incorporate moderate-to-vigorous physical activity to promote positive changes in student physical fitness and psychosocial outcomes. She received her PhD in Kinesiology at Michigan State University in 2020 with a focus on pediatric exercise physiology and program evaluation research methods.

Are you seeing double? That’s right! Elizabeth has teamed up with her twin sister Jeanette to bring their shared passion of sport to life.

Elizabeth currently works for Nike, Inc. as a Learning and Development Manager where she helps design and activate learning programs for employees and leaders across Asia Pacific and Latin America. You can also find her teaching Spin, Barre, and other fitness classes in her local community of Portland, OR. She loves bringing what she has learned through her work experiences as well as her extensive business education at Loyola Marymount University to Aim to Play LLC! Her expertise in events, business management, and marketing help guide Aim to Play LLC’s decisions as well as help tell their story and mission to their clients.
